Great Features and easy set up

The unit is solid, set up with was very easy. We love the key fob feature and overall the sound is definitely manageable--barely audible from inside the house with windows closed.

Excellent Generator

This compact generator is definitely a great buy and a workhorse. Two months after I bought it for backup power during Texas hurricane season I had to put it to work. Power was out for only 12 hours but I had prepped it and ran it several hours in the months prior and it performed flawlessly. It has great features and is very intuitively designed. Sound is minimal at low load and it ramps up quickly and gets louder but still, at max, is quieter than most other cheaper gens. The manual also has reasonable periodic maintenance unlike some cheap models that require service way too soon for basic parts like brushes that should last fore years and years before needing replacement - read the manual first before you decide. Definitely would buy another!

I am disappointed to learn after purchase that according to the manual, this unit is very sensitive to wet weather conditions. That's when we will need it, when the weather is stormy enough to knock the power out! The oil fill is inconvenient/changing the oil will be a hassle. Both of these issues can be overcome but . . .
