The Perfect Unit

I bought this unit 2 weeks ago. It is performing as adverised. Having been a motorhome owner, I have to say that the noise level is equal to or lower than the noise created by an RV generator. I really like the LED information panel.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Started up out of box, ran for hour or so great. Next few days temp dropped int 40* and would not start. Last two times on different days had to take off maintenance cover held by 4 screws and manually control choke to start. Not happy with having to start this way.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ordered, picked it up, read manual, added oil, hooked up battery, hooked up propane tank...open propane value, selected fuel, turned switch on, turned off eco, pushed starter button...started right up!!
For first initial test, plugged in a dual control heat gun and when trigger pressed, the generator reacted accordingly, depending on high or low setting. Looking forward to connecting to our RV trailer next weekend.

Worked as Expected

I just received the generator. I set it up, hooked up the LP gas tank, and started it up. And it ran fine. I switched it to Efficiency mode and plugged in a mobile phone charger, without any problems. I turned off Efficiency mode, plugged in a 150 lb air compressor, and it started and ran just fine.
I do wish it was a bit quieter, particularly on Efficiency mode.
Also, several of the controls in the manual do not match up to the actual control panel on the generator. So I had to hunt around a bit to find them, to make sure I was looking at the correct indicator lights.

Generator works as advertised, but the fitment of everything looks like it could have been assembled with more care. The propane fitting is almost rubbing other opening and is hard to attach the propane hose.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

2nd Unit Was Fine

I purchased my first iGen 4500DF on October 15th, 2021. Delivery was very fast. Setup was easy and the generator started right away. I am using propane. After running 20 to 25 minutes it just stopped. I could not get it restarted. At this time I contacted my dealer and they shipped me out a new iGen4500DF. The old unit was returned back to Westinghouse. The second unit has been working great. Starts every time and runs very well. Also, the first generator had the auto choke disconnected as many others had commented on in their reviews. I haven't checked the second unit yet as I only use propane.
I would recommend this to a friend!
