Great Features

I just received the generator. The main purpose of use will be for camping. I have no doubt that I would be able to use it minimally, for my home if needed. This generator has great features such as dual fuel, electrical outlets, USB, remote start and wheels to easily move when on the ground. It is quiet. I am satisfied with my purchase so far.

Great Insurance!

I purchased the iGen 4500DFc after many hours of research over a 2-week period. I went back and forth between inverters and larger open-frame models. In the end, I decided I don't really need to power a lot of items at once, but I want the capability to power more than just one or two small items. This one fell in between, and when combined with the dual fuel capability, CO sensor, and quiet operation, I knew it was the right choice for me at this time. Power outages are fairly infrequent and short duration in my area, so I hope to never need it. However, I will set it up and maintain it regularly so it will be reliable insurance if it is needed.

I have only had this for a short time, but I'm very happy with it. It is quieter than my previous generator, starts every time, and is packed with features. I'm using this for my camper and it powers everything with ease!

Quiet & Portable

After extensively researching portable generators, my husband settled on the Westinghouse iGen4500DF and is very happy with this purchase! It was very well packed, easy to unpack, and arrived on time. The cost was commensurate with the service it will provide if/when there is a power outage. When testing it out, it started right up and was remarkably quieter than expected. Its compact size and retractable handle make it easy to transport. Overall, we are pleased with this generator!

An issue out of the box

I will update this review once I have more time with the generator. But right out of the box the remote control does not work. I did follow the instructions and try to re pair it also. When holding down the on/off button for 10 seconds it never gives me the green power light like the instructions say. The remote will not start the generator when you click on. I will try calling and emailing customer service and I will come back and update this with pictures and a new review.
