New to digital inverters

I bought the iGen450DFc a few months ago & am just now getting it setup. So far everything seems good. I may have more to say after operating it.

I've had this generator a month now and so far it has performed excellent. Easy to prepare for running, easy to start, fuel efficient, and quite as others I've had half it's size.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good First Impression

Unboxing the generator and finding everything I needed was a welcome sight. The battery connected easily to my trickle charger and went to full charge quickly. The oil is a bit of a pain to get to, especially if you have big hands, but the filler hose does screw on and there is a washer at the end, so kudos for that. The cap is difficult to get back on. It keeps wanting to cross thread. A bigger access door would be helpful. Gas cap attached, nice touch. Went to fire it up and it starts and dies right away. Have to look into this. May be a return. Shouldn’t have to work on something right out of the box. First impression, I would not recommend, but hoping to be convinced in the long run.

My 4500 DF generator is awesome very quiet very fuell Efficient, have had no issues in the last two years.

High quality generator

I mainly bought this in case of power outage, which we haven't had yet. But it did come in handy when I bought a jukebox out of a storage unit. I also plan to use it for dry camping when we eventually get a trailer. I chose this particular model for the dual-fuel option, and the inverter efficiency. Have yet to test it hard, but pleased with the purchase so far.

Awesome DF Generator

I borrowed my sons 4500 inverter generator a couple of weeks ago and was so impressed with it that I came home and ordered this one for myself. It is super quiet, I even ran a decibel reading comparison between this 4500 dual fuel model and the Honda 2000 EU model and they were within one decibel of each other. Best Gen ever.
