Got the generator for our RV to allow us to dry camp. Set the generator up and it started with one pull. Ran the Air Conditioner and TV just fine.

Tested with toaster + microwave. Adding coffee maker at the same did exceed the iGen2500 max rating. Unplugged the coffee maker and pushed the iGen's reset button. Restored full function without fuss. This unit to be used only in case of prolonged power outage mainly to keep the food in the fridge frozen/cold. And miscellaneous other low power necessities. Feel I made a good choice. After my new purchase test, I followed the supplied instructions for prolonged storage. Pumped out the tank. Then started and ran until completely dry. Then drained the float bowl. Put a squirt of motor oil in the cylinder and pulled the cord a few times. Good to go when the emergency comes!

Generator runs smooth and quite. With a 1500 watt heater attached, runs a little louder but with ease. I have'nt tried yet but I believe it will run my RV 13.5 AC without a problem. Ready to go camping!

This generator came in time after experiencing almost two months without any electricity or water after hurricane Maria destroyed most of Puerto Rico. Not only has it been giving us some extra comfort with powering or essential house appliances like our fridge and fans, but it has been great on the gas economy and a low noise profile. Great little generator for emergency purposes. Bought this to replace a very large generator that was way to much for our needs during an emergency. Who really needs to light up the whole house during a true emergency situation? I need something that is quiet, sips the gas and can easily be secured. This things fits the bill perfectly. Less expensive and more powerful than the Honda with a longer warranty. Seems like a no brainer. Great reviews everywhere you look.
