I upgraded from an i2400 Explorer to this unit for the digital display mostly, didn't have an issue with the Explorer. That said I only have a few hours on this new iGen2500, but so far it runs like a champ. Started up with only a couple pulls and ran loads between 500 and 2000 watts with ease. Extremely quiet, especially on the lower loads and idle with the eco mode turned on. I very much like the redesign of this unit.

I like the low noise level and portability, being under 50 pounds. I have only performed a short 10 minute test as it is new, but it performed as expected. My only concern is the back where the exhaust is was somewhat hot after 10 minutes.

Easy handling. Lightweight. Fuel economy is awesome. The full tank (one gallon) last more than 12 hours. Used during power outage due to hurricane Maria. Relief for basic electricity usage (fridge, lights, fans, tv...)
