Super quiet and perfect for off grid backup power

Bought this to replace an older 2000 watt generator that finally bit the dust. It serves as a backup a small solar/battery system in an off-grid island cottage in coastal Maine.
Pros:
Very quiet
Easier starting than old generator (no priming needed)
Multi-purpose display (shows % of load, fuel level, total hours running time, etc)
Light weight
More power output (watts) than similar priced units.

Cons: none noted yet.
Strongly recommend you follow their recommendation to use non-ethanol gas in this generator. Saves headaches with gummed up carburetors.

Excellent value and very quiet

It powers everything I need for living without power after a hurricane. It is pretty quiet for its power, especially when in ECO mode, which totally handles my needs very well.

Great Price, Works Well

I recently bought an iGen 2800. I'm in the middle of the break in period and so far so good.I'm not real happy that the cover needs to be removed to check the oil level. I'm hoping the screws holding the cover don't eventually strip out. Minor annoyance for an otherwise great product.

Used for tailgating and it worked great
