Smooth running inverter

Purchased because it is cheaper and more powerful than the Honda. Runs 2000w loads fine. A lot cheaper than Honda or Yamaha. Seems very good quality for one that's half the price. Hopefully it will last like the Honda.

I had zero problems starting this generator the first time. Startup instructions were simple and easy to follow. Generator took two pulls to start on second use. Overall, very pleased with this unit as of 2 uses.

Lite Weight and Powerful Inverter Generator

The Westinghouse iGEN2500 is equal or lighter weight than most of the 2000 Watts inverter generators that I researched but best of all it's peak output is 500 watts greater. Additionally, it is quiet as most with the exception of the Honda and Yamaha which are only slightly lower but are twice the price. Westinghouse's iGEN2500 with it's larger power is a perfect fit for my new Travel Trailer

Once started, ran well.

Will be using for tailgating, although we have Hurricane Irma bearing down on us now. Difficult starting now. Spark plug was screwed in very tight. Once I took it out and reinstalled, it started right up. Starts best when choke isn't fully engaged. Quieter than I expected.

Good first impression

I was set to purchase a competitors product (the red one) and came across the iGen2500. The specs were better than the competition and the price about 1/2 with a good 3 year warranty. It was delivered within 2 days and arrived in good shape with no shipping issues. I followed the instructions for pre-startup (basically add oil), and on the 3rd pull it fired off. I let it run for about 1/2 hour and then shut it off. A week later I decided to test it out on my trailer. This time it started on the first pull (and has every other time since). I plugged the trailer in and started turning on lights, then the refrigerator and finally the AC (13,500 watts). I was running the iGen on economy mode and when I turned on the AC the generator immediately increased the revs to accommodate the load, without issue. So far this appears to be a well designed and built product. I really have no complaints. I did call Westinghouse support prior to purchase and got a very knowledgeable and pleasant rep on the phone after a very short wait. My questions were answered quickly. I was very pleased that customer service was so good and so quick - that bodes well for any future issues I may have. Time will tell with this generator, but I have a feeling that if I maintain it per the manual, I should be using it well past the 3 year warranty.

Great Tailgating Generator!

I purchased this for tailgating. I used it last weekend for the first time. It ran a 32" TV, Satellite box, Dish Tailgater and charged 2 cell phone with no problem. I am sure it could carry a much bigger load. It was also very quiet!
