The generator started instantly on the first use. I would prefer to have a vented gas cap since I had to loosen the cap to get it to start, but overall, happy with its performance.

A gem of a generator!

This is a remarkable portable generator. It's being used to run a reverse cycle heat/air unit on a 40' sailboat at anchor. Also runs refrigeration on board. It's extremely quiet and very fuel efficient. Highly recommended!!

Loved it, at first!

Worked great for the first few months. Wasn't able to get it started recently. Currently in the shop trying to determine what's wrong. Called Westinghouse to file a claim since it was within the first year, still waiting to have it resolved.
