Very impressed!

I was very preasantly surprised by how easy it was to get this generator started and the low noise it produces. On my first trial, I hooked up my fridge, my internet router and a ceramic heater and could only get it up to 25%. Very happy!

Nice little Generator

Overall this is a nice quiet little generator. It has nice options like the illuminated fuel level, and estimated run time estimator. The only thing I don't like about it is the side cover that you have to remove to check or change the oil. To remove the cover to check the oil level you have to loosen two phillips screws and then pull on the cover until the three tabs pop loose. I bought this unit to use in the winter time so i'm not sure how long the plastic tabs will last being pulled through cold stiff rubber grommets.

Easy start, light weight

I have not used this generator yet for the purpose for which it was bought. But I have started a break-in process. In preparation for the purchase I did a little research on what others had done to break in a generator like this. They had suggested that after adding the oil that you slowly pull the start cord to turn over the engine to get the oil distributed a bit. Well I did that and I could not believe the generator started on the 3rd pull. I was only pulling enough to slowly turn the engine over. I was by no means giving it the typical pull to start a small engine. I was impressed.

I just bought this from a private party that he had only used it once. I like it be cause it runs quietly. It starts right up and works for my 1875W hair dryer.
