Runs well, starts easy

Runs well and starts easy. Worked great for powering my rv. Only issue was when i did the first oil change the oil came out full of silver specs. It looked like silver glitter nail polish. Hopefully just left over from assembly/machining and not anything else.

Great Generator, with a Couple of Minor Issues

I bought this generator to run my 15,000 BTU air conditioner with the Micro Air Easy Start. The generator is great, started on the second pull and has good power out. I'm taking off a star for two issues. First is my fuel float sticks. When I first filled it up, said zero fuel. After sitting overnight it was at 1/2. I grabbed a screw driver and realized the float sticks. Hoping it will loosen up with use, as the nearest service center is 3 hours away. Not a deal breaker, but just annoying. The second issue is despite the manual claiming there is a lifetime run counter on the led display, they apparently forgot to program that feature. Nothing a $25 add on won't fix, but the display is already there, how did they miss that?? Other than these two minor gripes, great product. With the Easy Start it will power my A/C along with my converter in trickle charger and my fridge on electricity (at 2,000' above sea level). Would highly recommend.

For portable a/c

Just bought this to run a 12k btu. It could not handle the load. I'm going to get a less powerful a/c. The generator is very nice, just not as powerful as I hoped.

Very nice little unit. Powers up a four circuit transfer switch. All the essentials light, tv, fridge and furnace. Piece of mind seeing how loosing power for several days twice a year is the new normal in new england.

Easy to set up

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I put in the included oil and put about a quart of gas into the tank. The generator started on the fourth pull and settled down into a smooth rhythm within a minute or so, after adjusting the on/choke knob. For the initial test run, I didn't run anything with high amps and only connected a large floor fan, which ran perfectly. The generator ran for over two and a half hours on the quart of gas, and I let it run down completely to avoid any residue which might affect later starts. I measured the decibel volume between 44 dB to 58 dB, measuring from 25 feet away to an inch or two away, and in both eco mode and regular run mode. The generator is very quiet and can only be heard faintly in the house on the side it was located, but it couldn't be heard at all in the bedrooms or upstairs. The information display is easy to read. My only criticism is that the serial number could be placed in a more accessible location, which has nothing to do with the performance.
