Great Buy!

My first experience with a generator. Very pleased with quality of unit and set up instructions. Previously had power outage and lost considerable amount of refrigerated products. Although I purchased the unit back in April of this year, I didn't need it until the middle of June. A tree took down power lines and this unit saved the day, as well as the items stored in the refrigerator and freezer!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this 3 weeks ago and then had our power outage. Opened box, followed directions, added non-oxygenated gas, and started right up. Handled our two refrigerators easily and cell phones charged at same time. Will have to get more extension cords so can add more items to generator. Recommend this generator to everyone

Ran for a few hours varying the load (no more than 1/2) as recommended in the manual. The engine seems to be quiet enough but there is a high-pitched sound coming from the unit. I'm assuming this is from the generator itself and was hoping it would go away during the break-in period. Unfortunately, it hasn't so I'm not able to give this unit a higher rating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just pulled it out of the box and my first impression is very positive. The fit and finish is great. The attention to detail (tools and oil included) is noteworthy. The directions seem very well explained - for this non-mechanic. I’m a little intimidated by the frequency and scope of maintenance but I’m sure that would be the case with any generator. All in all an impressive start!
