This product was just wanted I wanted. It was compact which allows for ease in traveling and storing. Was able to use with no problems and support equipment without much pull on the unit.

Extremely Quiet

We ran it for 5 hours and ran everything in our pop up. The load was easily carried and didn’t fluctuate much as I carried the load. Tiny little back fires is my only critique but not enough to affect the review.

More watts than I need

Purchased last summer for dry camping, and finally got around to using it. I'm only at a quarter of its capacity. Fairly quiet, easy to use, looking forward to more weekends.

So Far, So Good

So far, so good. I received my new iGen2500, took it out of the box, added the oil and some gasoline, and it started on the third pull. The side cover was a little tough to get off the first time in order to add the oil, but I was being very cautious so as to not accidentally break anything; the rubber grommets are a bit tight when new.
There are many on-line reviews that advise changing the oil after a short break-in period. This made sense to me, so after running it lightly loaded for about an hour (with an occasional 1 kW hair dryer for a few minutes at a time, just to exercise things), I changed the oil. The oil was fairly clean and there was no debris (metal particles) that I could see. Seeing this result was good news. I'm hopeful that the manufacturing processes and/or quality control have improved to eliminate some of the early wear that other users have experienced.

Compact: Lightweight, powerful and quiet given its output. Great features. Love the clean power and the ability to connect in parallel with another appropriate generator.
