Great unit

Purchased this iGen 2500 for our rv and am looking forward to it.
It has 2200 running watts and 18 amps. More than the other 2500 watt units out there, the ones I looked at have approximately 1850 running watts. I feel I am getting more unit for approximately the same weight as the other brands. Have only started breaking in so far.

We bought this for camping and it is perfect for us. Size and power is great for our needs. It is quiet and can run for hours on one tank of gas.

Amazing generator!

I bought the unit a few weeks ago and it's amazing. Super quit and efficient. I purchased 2 units for camping and house backup. 1 unit can run a 15K AC with no problems. Both units can run the RV at full capacity. Simple to use and the parallel kit is very simple to hook up.

Easy to prep just add the included oil. Fill with gas. Started on second pull. Light weight 40 or so pounds. Can’t wait for the next power failure.

Great product that works perfectly. Amazed on how quiet it is. Very happy with this purchase. I also like the fact that you can parallel two different size Westinghouse house generators together.

Better than Expected

Started with a oil change every 1/2 hour for break in. After the fourth oil change (2 hours) the old oil came out pretty clean. Decided to start the test. I have installed a Reliance transfer switch. Using the WHPC parallel cable with 1 igen2500 connected we were able to run 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer, forced air furnace, satellite TV and a few lights. The igen held all for several minutes before we slowly decreased the load. It was running for all it was worth but did better than expected. We are purchasing another igen 2500 for parallel operation at the house. We started by wanting a gen for our RV and this works great for home back up. Easy to transport for other projects.
So far so good.
