Nice portable generator!

Bought this to help the next time the power goes out to save our refrigerated food and charge our laptops and phones. Size perfect for tailgating and block parties...plan to give that a try after social distancing restrictions.

After much research, the IGen 2500 was the best fit for me. Enought power to keep appliances going during a power outage caused by storms. It's just nice to have peace of mind knowing the food in the refrigerator/freezer will not be wasted.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Exactly what needed for Home power outages

I recently purchased the iGen2500 following several long power outages in our area from storms. I was looking for something that was small, relatively quiet, and could power a few essentials like our large refrigerator/freezer, the internet (modem / router) and our computers / phones. I tested the generator for several hours and it easily handled all the loads and was very fuel efficient as well. I will now has some peace of mind when the next storm hits.

Power was cut for 2 days of maintenance... since I work from home I had one shot to get this right and Im glad I did. Never looked back.
1 15CF Refrigerator/Freezer

At first I wasnt sure it was working.... nothing registered a load. Barely registered when the ref/Freezer kicked in but barely.
Once the cappucino maker kicked in at 1800W it shot up to 50% load during the duration of the heating operation. After the cappuccino maker was done - it went back down to purring like a cat.
If I had need for a second one I will buy the same one - but this one served nicely.
Make sure to buy a Y cable or other converter with the proper gauge maybe 10/12
