Nice features for the price

I purchased this unit as a backup power in case of long power outage during the fire season in California. The main appliance that I need it to run is our freezer and/or refrigerator. The unit was delivered just over a week ago so I haven't tested it for a long period of time, or use it for our purpose. Setting it up was easy and I was able to start it by the second pull. After that, it's pretty much a single pull. It's quiet. It's my first inverter generator so I can't compare the performance to other brand/model of generator. The only thing that I noticed is at slower RPM (efficieny mode), it doesn't run smoothly. I don't know if this is normal but I've seen some videos of reviews for the same model, it seems like their unit runs smoothly. Maybe it needs more run time. This is my only gripe and overall, I'm satisfied so far.

I was looking for a small, portable generator that delivered more than 2000 watts. This delivers 2500 watts, yet is the same size as similar models that deliver only 1800. So far, so good.

We bought this to run pitching machines. It's heavier than expected and wish there were wheels. But easy to start, operate and maintain. So far we've not had any issues.

Great Little Generator

I did a lot of investigation before I purchased this generator. It really paid off. I use it every time I go to Canada fishing, several times a year. It runs flawlessly. I am amazed how long it will run on a tank of gas even under a load. Plenty of power and quite portable. I really like the gauges, very helpful. So much I won't buy another generator without them. In fact I purchased a iGen4500 which I use to power my travel trailer. I highly recommend this product line.
