Running two in parallel

Just completed break in and changed oil to Mo***1 5W30 on these two iGen 2500's.Used recommended Westinghouse power/parallel power cord adapter. Plugged in my 32' motorhome auxiliary cable. Ran everything including AC unit, fridge, water pump as needed and two flat panel TVs with aplomb. These are impressive units. As quiet as any red comparable size gen. Inverter is definitely way to go. It's so great having choices of high quality generators in this class for literally half the price... I previously reviewed this unit as a single unit, first impression. Now that I've run these in, almost anxious for a reason to use them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Light and portable

Great Features For Price

We are super impressed so far with this product. For the price, the quality and features are great. It includes an hour meter, a special oil funnel, and only requires two screws to get off the side for servicing. All of these feature make it easier to service. It is quiet started on first pull when testing it after we added oil and fuel!

Could be better

The generator itself seems OK. Starts up in two pulls. However several things need improvement. The side panel to pour the oil is secured by two screws and a rubber grommet held panel. The screws don't thread out well and i had to use a flat screwdriver to pry the panel out. It would be nice if they created a pocket in the plastic case to store the tools provided (Screw driver and spark plug removal socket) While those are appreciated, they are also easy to misplaced on units that get moved around a lot like ours is. It is also quite a bit noisier than the Honda 2000i it replaced but the priced right.

We purchased this generator for several uses, backyard, camping, tailgating etc. We’re using a no ethanol gas. We started it up and it seemed very quiet. We also like the fact that it’s digital and it has the Westinghouse name.
I would recommend this to a friend!
