We use this with our travel trailer. We can run our refrigerator, microwave and all on board systems.

Works great right out of box

Read start-up directions, did as directed and it fired right up. Tested with constant and surge loading in regular and eco mode. Performed well. Time will tell how it goes in future but so far a very good product.

Perfect Solution

I researched inverter generators for months and always came back to the iGen2500 based on reviews and the power it offered. Set up was easy and it started on the second pull. I connected it to my travel trailer and tested the television, fans, and microwave. Everything worked. Then I turned everything off everything except one of two AC units at a time that are mounted on my roof. The 13500K unit started and ran easily and showed 75% usage on the IGen meter. I then tried the 15000K unit and it also started easily and ran well. The IGen meter showed about 100% usage so I doubt I could run anything else, but at least I can cool down the TT with the larger AC and then run the smaller unit to keep it cool, and also run the TV and fans. I suspect I would have to turn off the AC in order to use the microwave, but that’s not a problem. I am absolutely amazed and pleased that this little generator performs so well.

Solid Generator for RV

I bought this for a month long summer RV trip. We wanted a single suitcase unit that start our AC. I didn't want to have to use 2 units, or buy a 100+ lb unit.
The IGen2500 fits the bill. We installed an "Easystart" unit on our A/C and this unit cranks it just fine, with power left over to run several other items (other than a microwave).
It starts on the first pull every time. I really like the dashboard readout, that tells you how much gas and run time you have remaining, and has an hour meter.
I called customer service to inquire about high altitude jets for the carbuerator, and they were great, very helpful.
The noise level is comparable to Honda. The tone/pitch is a little higher, which makes it a little more noticeable. But a low loads it purrs. At high loads and a 50ft extension cord, it is certainly noticeable, but not bothersome.
