Quiet and dependable

Bought this just as bad storms moved thru our area. Glad to have the quiet and dependable backup to a larger Gen unit. We can easily take this camping and still enjoy the outdoors. Price was very competitive!

great value, perfect for backup power when camping

I bought this generator to provide backup power for my 5th wheel travel trailer when shore power is not available and battery power is depleted. It is small enough for easy handling and powerful enough to handle my single largest load, the air conditioner. It is comparatively quiet but likely not the most quiet model available. But for the money, it is undoubtedly the best choice for my needs. After my initial testing, I am very pleased with this product.

We bought this for camping and can’t wait to try it out with the camper. We got it all set up, let it sit and two days later it started with one pull. Noise level is moderate.

iGen2500 generator works well

I have a larger Westinghouse generator I purchased for power backup to my house and to power my travel trailer when parked at campsites that don't have hookups. That unit is fairly loud and uses a lot of gas. I purchased the iGen2500 because it is smaller, quieter, and has an eco-mode to save on gas. Out of the box and gas added, the unit started right up. I tried using it to power the 15K btu AC on my travel trailer, but the unit required more startup power than the generator could provide at peak. I installed a soft-start device on the trailer's AC unit and now I can run it on the generator. That generator runs great, and I really like the gauges on the front. It's great to see the power it's producing (amps and voltage), and the remaining fuel level. Another thing of note is that the unit comes with a 1 year parts and labor warranty and a 2–3 year parts warranty.
