So far......so good!

This is my first inverter generator as I recently sold my extremely reliable Coleman Powermate Generator to buy this smaller more functional unit to fit my current needs and use. After much research between several comparable makes and models, I went with Westinghouse. Very simple to just add oil (provided) and fuel to get it going. First pull and she's running and super quiet even off of eco mode. Switch to eco and she just purs like a kitten on a Sunday evening. I look forward to putting this unit through its paces while camping, tailgating and other recreational use.

Got this at the HD. Everything was in the box except gas. Literally followed the instructions, put the gas in it, pulled the cord once and started right up. Only had it a month but so far so good. I run my refer, tv and portable AC on it because California no longer has dependable power.

Perfect Generator

Purchased the Westinghouse IGen2500 generator this month in June. Filled the oil and gas two pulls and started right up. Let it warm up and ran for two hours. Tested out the generator with refrigerator/freezer and a small 8,000 btu a/c. Also added a few lights and was only using about 50%. The features are so easy to use and provide all the information you need to know. I purchased this for any blackouts we may have again in the future. Light weight 48 pounds and easy to carry. Also if you need additional power you can also buy another one and connect together, this way that gives you a backup if you ever have a problem. I would recommend this product to anyone. The reviews on this product is very positive compared to others. Thanks! John W

Great power for a small portable generator

I’m very impressed with everything the 2500 has to offer. For a small premium over competitors with much less proven history, you get much more features. Display is user-friendly and simple to understand. A fuel vent would be nice on the 2500. only issue was the inside near the oil cover had some pretty significant damage, and I am hoping westingHouse Will stand by their warranty or resolve the issue with the shipper. I will update this review. I got this unit as an upgrade from a 2350 wen And it is well worth the expense from what I can tell so far.
