Great generator!

The generator arrived with all parts and a good instruction manual. It was great that the included oil was the exact amount needed for the oil compartment. I'm using the bottle to measure the oil for changes. It started on the third pull and ran raggedly for the first 20 minutes then settled into a steady speed. Ran it for an hour, no load, then let it rest for an hour. Started up on the first pull and let it run for 2 hours at varying loads and it ran smoothly. Shut it down and changed the oil. It restarted again on first pull and ran smoothly for another two hours to complete break in. Changed the oil again and it was ready to go. We have used it now for about 60 hours runtime with no problems. It always starts easily on the first three pulls at most and runs smoothly. It's a great generator and I recommend it to anyone who needs an easy start reliable generator.

Back up power

I bought this in case of power outages. I wanted something portable and quiet, yet with adequate power. This seems to fit the bill. After the oil and gas were added, It started after the 4th pull.
I was very impressed with the noise level, I thought it was in efficiency mode but it was on full power. After a 5 minute warm up, I got out my miter saw, which is rated at 12 amps. It fired up instantly. No notable strain on the generator or the saw. I’ll exercise it periodically to break it in but I’m ready for the next outage. Time will tell as far as long term reliability. But it’s a good start.

Insurance During Fire Season

Unfortunately here in California "Planned Power Outages" during "Wind Events"
and "Fire Weather" has become common place. While I have a larger generator at my home, I purchased this one for my daughter and son-in-law who live in a townhome. The size is perfect to fit on their second floor balcony. Plenty of power to run their refrigerator, lights and home electronics plus keep their phones, etc. charged up. The unit is quiet enough so as not to be obtrusive to their neighbors, lite enough to move easily and small enough to store in an out of the way spot. The long run time means they don't have to keep a large amount of gas on hand. Set up was fast and easy with everything you need included in the box. Have only run it for the break in period so far but am impressed with the quick starts and quiet operation.
I researched several similar units and the feedback on this generator was very good. The 3 year warranty is also a plus. If you looking for a small, quiet, inverter generator for camping or just for those unexpected/or planned blackouts this is a great choice.
