Compact and Versatile Generator iGen2500

This generator is very easy to use and pretty quiet. I recommend this generator for appliances and short term use. Get a dolly with wheels for it for ease of moving around. I have not yet found a wheel kit for this model.

Just what we need for power outages

We tested this out and were able to ensure it can power our freezer, fridge, and maybe a few extras like the WiFi or one TV. Our most recent summer power outage made us realize we need to find a way to preserve the contents of our freezer that doesn’t involve taking the entire freezer to someone else’s house till the power comes back! This generator is perfect without being overkill.

Nice Generator

After searching for a small generator and reading many reviews, I decided to purchase the Westinghouse iGen2500. It came well packaged and after adding oil and gas, it started on the second pull. The generator is very quiet and runs smoothly. It responds well to loads and is quite strong for its size. There are many good small generators on the market but the deciding factor for me was the Digital Data Center feature. It allows me to monitor the status of the generator at a glance and includes an hour meter. It is well designed and user friendly. Overall, I could not be any more satisfied with my iGen 2500.

Started the First Time!

I followed the Quick Start Guide and after adding the provided oil and topping off the fuel tank, my 2500i started on the first pull. The oil fill system does not have a sight glass; its the only thing missing that would make this a "6 star" rating.
