Easy to start,

We bought this generator in January 2021, and we had no problem starting it out of the box. It operates as it should.

Great generator in a small package.

I purchased almost 2 months ago. Wanted to be able to plug in my refrigerators in case we ever lose power. Finally got to open the box. Right away, you can tell that it’s made well. Filled up the fluids. It started up on the second pull. Plugged in a 1500 watt heater and no issues running. Of course this heater consumed over half of the available wattage that the generator puts out. The wattage consumption that this heater uses is equivalent to the 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer that I need to power in case of a power outage. A little older than I expected, especially when there’s a load. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Hope I don’t ever have to use it, but if I do, I’m confident that it will do the job.

Great quite generator

Perfect for me. It is quite and powerful.Very quite . Only thing i would ask Westinghouse is to add 2 trolly wheels so that we could move around easily.

Lightweight, Quiet, Nice Features

Bought this generator for home backup and for RV use
Have had a few close calls on losing the contents of my freezer in the summer and worrying about freezing pipes with lose of power to my gas furnace in the winter
I have an RV and would also like it to be big enough to run my air conditioner also
Almost purchased a larger generator but looked at there weight and did not want to have to lift it in and out of my truck while camping, this generator is easy to lift
Calculated the loads that I wanted to handle and the Igen2500 looks like it has more then what I should need
Unpacked the generator and it was in good shape, added the oil and gas and after a couple of easy pulls it started and ran well
Put a 1200watt heater load on the generator and it easily and handled it
Have not fully loaded it yet
I really like the information display, the power load, runtime and fuel level are very useful, there is a button on the display that lets you select what function you what to look at
I like that the power is clean and I do not have to worry about running the electronic controls on my furnace and the RV systems
So far very happy with it

Backup power inverter generator

Awesome products by Westinghouse. Instructions are very clear and started up on the 2nd pull. 1st pull thereafter. I got this little baby to run during the night in case of a power outage - to keep noise level low and reduced wattages while sleeping. I also have the WH7500 which I had for 5 years now and always started. Do your maintenance and testing throughout the year and you will be good to go! Another satisfied customer.

So far so good. Set up instructions for installing oil and tool kit were easy to understand, unit started on the first pull and was actually quieter than I expected! The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was longevity I want to see how it is running a year or more from now.
