Just got it today opened it up looks very nice. Sounds good will test it out this weekend. For a longer run time. Quiet compared to others. Came with spark plug tool, small Phillips screw driver, 4 cycle 10w-30 oil, instructions and if you leave review you get a cover for it for free.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good price but Leaked gas all over the driveway

The iGen2500 would not start after 15 or 20 pulls. Then the gas began to pour out from under the generator. I quickly unscrewed and removed the side panel to assess why it was leaking (and continuing to leak) gas. I traced it to the drain hose off the carburetor. I was able to pull the drain hose above the carb to stop the leak. I then reviews the Maintenance section of the manual which discussed how to drain the “Float Bowl”. Upon further inspection it seems the “Drain Screw” was left wide open from the factory. I tighten the screw, stopped the leak then it started right up. Now for the gas clean up and cloth wash. They need to take better care at the factory.

Well thought out Small Generator

Arrive well before initial date. I can only comment on the product out of the box.
Well thought out design and has a small kit, (Screw Driver/Spark plug wench), funnel and motor oil. Engine service cover is secured by two screws and very tight fitting grommets and posts. Added the oil without spillage due to the design of the funnel. Recommend you to keep the motor oil bottle, (refill) and funnel on hand for future usage.
Spark plug access does not fit as well as I think it should, however this will not hinder the performance. Recommend using only non-ethanol premium fuel only.
Performance is to be seen as this current writing will not be very helpful in that aspect.

Adding the oil is fine, however the ability to measure the oil level is very poor. The 30degree access angle with measure stick makes the measurement inaccurate - false reading. I recommend the oil access be extend to point upwards, and a smooth stick be extended to measure where the oil level should be.
I just received the unit. It started easily. Besides taking multiple attempts to ensure I was not adding too much the unit seems good so far.
