The Igen 2500 Arrived in perfect condition. Added the supplied oil and and a small amount of ethanol free gas, and it started on the second pull and ran like a fine Swiss watch. I can carry this inverter generator easily with one hand and wow, it's quiet and smooth and uses very little fuel. It's a winner.

I purchased this generator in case of a power outage if we get a hurricane. setup was easy. Started right up. Quiet! Ran it under load and I love the amp meter display showing the load. I can test check all that I want to run prior to having to use it in an emergency.

Put the oil in and gas and it started on the second pull. Runs smooth and I would consider it to be very quiet, now the heavier the load the harder it runs the more noise it makes, but if you are using small appliances and can run it on eco mode it is just a little purr. I have very high expectations for this little guy. I purchased this for power outages so we won't lose everything in our refrigerator and freezer. Also we expect it to be useful with our small travel trailer

Easy to set up. Started after just one pull. Bought two to run in parallel, but just needed one generator to run our RV air conditioner and TV's. Very powerful for a portable generator.

After much research I found this Westinghouse igen 2500 to be the best overall inverter generator for use at home during occassional power outages. Adequate to run my large refrigerator/freezer, tv, fans, computer, cell phone, coffee maker with power to spare. Very quiet, efficient and lightweight with good warranty from a great American Company, i.e. Westinghouse.. Great price too from AP Electric & Generators, WI
