We bought this before hurricane season and finally had to open it up in Oct. Easy to assemble, great manual. Oil us a little awkward to fill, but all tools were provided. We started with gasoline, but then switched to propane which was quieter. Had a little trouble with the electric start when we switched, but the pull rope got it going and from then on the electric start button worked. What a lifesaver. It ran refrigerator/freezer, induction single burner, lamp ,and big screen tv.
Bought Generator after storm related to Hurricane Helene that caused our power to go out. Upon opening the box I was impressed by the quality of the welds and could tell this was a premium product. Appreciated they included small engine oil, a funnel and a wrench; the kicker is they even provided a storage sleeve for these items, so I know they are related to the generator and not just floating around loosely in my tool storage. Hooked up the generator to propane after adding the oil and this thing fired right up and purred like a kitten. I'm 100% confident this generator is going to perform when I need it to and think I made a solid purchase. Very pleased to own a Westinghouse generator!
Living just south of Tampa, we were directly where the hurricane made landfall. We were without power for 5 days. The Westinghouse 4650 powered 2 refrigerators, lights, fans, charging units and our garage door. It was easy to setup and operate. Absolutely love it, and now we are prepared for future power outages!
I bought this generator after a recent storm left me without power for 5 days. I did a lot of research and this unit by Westinghouse is definitely the most bang for your buck. Just added oil and fuel and it crank right up. I do recommend getting the wheel kit because generators are heavy. I am definitely ready for the next storm outage and thanks to Westinghouse I didn't have to go broke doing it
