I operate it in my shed with exhaust fans about 75 feet away to help power the house which is off the grid solar on rainy days and to charge the batteries. Love that remote control. It's so quiet i use a porch light to remind me when it is on. I'm at 25 hours and first oil change. Very happy
Easy to set up and i hooked up to propane and push the button it started right away. Now just have to wait for a power outage to really see what it can do
Bought and set this generator up last night. Easy instructions and much quieter than expected. Love the dual power options and remote start. Couldn't find the key fob at first - it was clipped behind the pull cord, not in any of the bags.
It’s much quieter than I thought. It runs well. I love the dual fuel feature. This will come in handy if you can’t get fuel after a storm. Living in Mississippi, we have plenty of storms. The only feature I would change is the oil plug; it is difficult to put in and out. You have to get on your knees and the plug must be unscrewed from a tight spot. You can’t check the oil without screwing it all the way back into the engine. It is quite heavy, but the sturdy wheels and handle make moving it a breeze. I also love that there are so many ways to start it. Overall, I’m quite pleased with my generator!
This is my first year using a generator. I found it to be easy to SETUP, startup and use. I also like the fact that it uses gas or propane with the flip of a switch. I can store it easily under my deck, ready for use.
Have not had any luck starting with the electric start without manual choke, but all functions seem to work fine. Battery needs to be charged before starting which is easy as part of the set up
