I bought this in 2020 while in CT. taking care of my 96-year-old mother. In case the power went out, we needed backup. We did not need it, so it came home with me to NC after she passed, and did not unpack it until hurricane Ian(2022) this weekend. I still did not have to use it but having the peace of mind knowing that I have this is worth so much. Also not being overly handy, I thought the setup was very easy.
This unit wouldn’t start on gas. Called customer service and had to make repairs myself to the carburetor. I had to try and repair since I had no way to take to a repair facility do to my age and lack of a truck. I am not an engine repairman and you give your customers no other choice. Poor Quality Control.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the fact that this has dual fuel options. It is a bit heavy. Wheels would be nice, but then the price would likely be higher. This generator was very cost friendly.
Just purchased. No real world long term testing but initial impression was good. Easy to get it from the box to ready to run. Started and ran in 5-10 seconds on propane and ran well. Haven’t ran on gasoline yet but would expect it to run equally well. Louder than I had hoped but still manageable. My AC unit on my camper is so loud it drowns it out anyway.
