Bought this because it is big enough to run my whole small house. Am waiting for election for whole house hook up. Push button start and dual fuel are great. I am building a small shed to house it.

loose wire

after set-up, gen would not start. after removing the front panel, discovered that the red wire connection to the 10a fuse holder to the motor was not connected. after re-connecting the wire, gen started and now works,

New unit - battery not functional

We had a major power outage and the product did not start when I needed it. Brand new out the box. Support folks were courteous and had me drain oil however, after 100 pulls or so, discovered it was the battery. I had to plug in the charging port to my car to get it to start. The battery will not hold a charge and I still have not received the replacement battery. The generator worked great after getting it started. Rating would have been better if the generator worked out of the box.

Have only run a short time but am impressed. Have owned lots of stuff over the years and this looks like high quality. Thought the dual fuel would be a plus and you can actually switch from one to the other WHILE RUNNING!
