I recently purchased this generator to be prepared for hurricane season. I plan to run a 6000 BTU AC unit and a refrigerator off of it if the power goes out. I have not run it yet, but the build quality is excellent. One of the reasons I picked this unit is because the fuel consumption is lower than other models I looked at which had similar specs.

This generator looks pretty good and seems to deliver the rated amps without any problem. The only reason I knocked off a star was due to problems with shipping. Westinghouse needs to protect the unit better for shipping. The first one I received was badly damaged and I had to return it. The second one had some minor damage, which was taken care of by Westinghouse support.

All Around Efficient

We bought this in case of emergencies. We only did a trial run at this point since thankfully we have not had to use it yet. But the size is great to move around. The style, design, and color are a nice touch. And it worked fine for operating several appliances and gadgets (staggered). We're thrilled with the purchase at this point.
