Started on first pull. Eased the choke off after a few seconds. Runs just like it should. Bravo! This unit will be traveling to VIR in August and Road Atlanta in October. Measured 55db at 23 feet. I will be looking for a muffler kit or sound baffles. Ideas welcomed.

I bought this primarily for an emergency, to keep my sump pump running through an outage. I also use it when I'm camping, to power my RV and it runs quiet and for a long time, since I only use about 30% of the max running load. I highly recommend this generator, especially if it's your first generator, because the control panel is very simple and intuitive to navigate. Plus, their customer service is exemplary.

Works well, but inspect for defects

Started right up. Had to return the first one. Engine mounts were snapped as if the unit was dropped. That unit also had a small hole defect in the air filter cover. The replacement unit arrived in one piece and had no defects except for a small bend in one of the blue cooling fins. Shouldn't be an issue.
