I bought this with the intention of using it after hurricanes/tropical cyclones. Since I live in Miami, having a generator after a hurricane knocks out power for days will prevent you from sweating profusely for the entire 24 hours of the day, day after day. This generator runs my refrigerator, 2 window ac units, no lights since I live in a 1920's apartment building (welcome to Miami), computer+monitor+modem, or the water heater with nothing else connected. All in all, this generator is golden.

I ordered this after Hurricane Irma knocked out power from most of Florida. When it came it I unpacked it; attached the wheels and base feet and read up on how to get the generator up and running. It was not more than 15 minutes from the time I started reading to the time it was generating power. It could not have been any easier. Plus this comes from Westinghouse and, frankly, I trust the name.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy Start

After filling with oil (oil and funnel was included!) and gas I followed the simple instructions printed on top of the generator. I pulled the start rope slowly just to see how hard it was to pull and the generator fired up! Wow....easy start! The only assembly was putting the wheels on the cart. Easy to move around with the built in cart. It is very solid and not as loud as I expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!
