bought it for power outages during hurricane season

just purchased it and it's twice as powerful as the one I borrowed from a friend last year so I expect it to meet my needs totally.

Upon receiving the unit, I was initially concerned and a bit disappointed as there was oil residue covering much of the unit. After reporting same to Jeremy at customer service it was assumed that the crankcase was not completely drained prior to shipment. In any case, after cleaning the unit, filling the crankcase with oil and a small amount of fuel to the tank, the unit started first pull. The engine smoothed out quickly and ran flawlessly both on and without load.

The generator came mostly built, i just had to put the wheels and forward stands. I like that it is not too large and does not burn too much fuel.
