Much more quiet than I expected, and power to spare !

I have only done a short test since my purchase, but I am surprised at how quiet it is for the size and power. I can now feel confident that I'll be prepared for the up coming "hurricane" season. I've always had faith in Westinghouse.

Upon receiving the unit, I was initially concerned and a bit disappointed as there was oil residue covering much of the unit. After reporting same to Jeremy at customer service it was assumed that the crankcase was not completely drained prior to shipment. In any case, after cleaning the unit, filling the crankcase with oil and a small amount of fuel to the tank, the unit started first pull. The engine smoothed out quickly and ran flawlessly both on and without load.
