Right size generator

Having moved to FL and being without power for 3 days, I wanted a generator to provide power for my well , fridge, lights and fans. I did a whole house connection with a an interlock and tested to see my current draw. Running about 1.4kw, so I should be good. Also added a amp meter to manage my power use. The 120 v are ok for me, as my well pump is 120v. Really happy to have the option to use propane which I do. Should be easier to maintain.

Excellent Generator

I purchased the Westinghouse WGEN3600c generator for our annual 4th of July cookout. Its performance was great. We needed an upgrade, and I am very pleased that we chose this one. It was very easy to assemble, easy to transport and easy to operate. It provided all the power we needed to run our electrical features as well as powering a DJ booth. I would recommend that anyone looking for a generator get this one!

I bought this generator about 6 weeks ago as a backup and left it in the box. I lost power last night and was able to set the generator up and had power going in about ten minutes.
