Hello my name is Kevin Zuber. I recently moved to the mountains of TN. I was worried about the weather (winter mostly). Knowing I would more than likely face power outages, I decided to get a generator. I am retired and live in a 23' motor home on SSDI . After spending countless hours online I found your generator Wgen3600v. It arrived a day earlier then promised. I ran it according to the manual and changed the oil after 20 hours (recommended), all the time having it plugged into my RV. What a pleasant and secure feeling as this generator was flawless. I now know that I will never be without power, no matter what may come. Thank You so much for this Generator, it's Perfect!!
Have had it a week now so have not gotten to use it a lot. So far so good. Cranked up with the first pull. Running non-ethanol gas to keep clean. A bit louder than I would like. My meter shows 72 db - wish they could get these more reasonable generators a higher quality muffler. I will use the plywood method.
I will admit this is the first generator I have ever bought but the bar has been set extremely high. Well built, sturdy design, and it actually looks kind of cool.
I purchased this to power our camper should we lose power. I live in the gulf coast and we were affected by hurricane Sally.
I purchased the version without wheels in order to save a little bit of money and I put my own wheels on it. Looking forward to using it in the future.
Just purchased the Westinghouse WGen3600. Runs very well and is remarkably quiet. The technicians at Hills Flat Lumber Co. assembled my Generator and explained how to start and use the WGen3600. Very pleased customer. Thank you very much. Brian
I ordered this generator in early September and received about a week later. I finally got a chance to set it up and run it today. I was really surprised and how quiet it was relatively speaking for gas powered generator. I only ran it briefly and with a few items on it for a load, so I cannot comments and it’s a durability, ability to sustain a load, or it’s runtime out a tank of fuel fuel. I ran the few are the carburetor and drain the tank in order to start until next emergency, which I bought it for after being out of power for a day and a half two months ago when the edge of a hurricane blew through the area. One minor disappointment is that inside the tank in around the rim was starting to rust. The inside of the tank should’ve been sprayed with oil by the manufacture prior to shipping so that this didn’t happen. I’m not gonna bother returning it over this and plan on picking up some fogging oil the fog the carburetor and spray inside the tank to prevent further rust from developing.
