I brought for the storm although I didn't have to use it. The generator looks great but had minor shipping problems which warranty is taking care of now other than that I would recommend and buy again

Fuel shut off value leaks

Pulled out of box the oil that came with was crushed by generator. Lost 3 to 4 Oz. Of oil in bottom of box. Clean up check everything fill with oil. Gave it one pull, flywheel was grinding on something. Fine fixed that, flywheel cover had small dent which pushed one of the flywheel cover bolts into the plastic flywheel. No real damage. Filled with gas and now shut off value leaks. So fix that problem (will be getting new one) so I could run it. Runs good not to loud, 1 gallon will last 4.5 hours on small load.( couple lights,radio, coffee pot)
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good Instructions

Followed instructions, started up on second pull. Ran for about 15 minutes. Tested output using an electric drill. Everything appears to be fine. Electric power never went out at our house so we are storing it away for when it does.

Ease of setup and use.

We bought due to a winter storm coming and this generator had quick delivery and setup. I added the wheel package and had a little trouble installing the wheel pins; however, we replaced the fat washers with thinner washers and it worked great. Very satisfied.

Easy to use generator

I bought this generator so that I would have peace of mind if power went out for extended period of time. Needed to run my refrigerator and a couple lights and power phones and battery packs. Loved how it performed - only used once so far!! Good generator for the cost - I am happy with this purchase.
