I bought this with the hopes of preparing for a powder outage as well as working and remote areas with power tools.
Before I had a chance to prepare and break it in we experienced an outage lasting more than 12 hours.
With nothing more to do I unpackaged it followed the pictures on the guide and my house was protected.
The oil comes pre-measured with a nice clean funnel. You put in the oil you put in the gas follow the pictograms that are right on the generator and it supplies power.
I ran a large french door refrigerator a small basement refrigerator on one outlet other appliances on the remaining outlets. The throttle responded when the sump pump or sewage pump kicked in.
It never bogged down it never lost power it never threw a fuse I believe I could put double the load that I have and it would be working swimmingly.
Another feature that I noted was the gas tank gauge it was clear to understand and visible from outside my house through a window.
The whole apparatus is very well made and seems precision built unlike some models on display in big box stores. I mean even areas that I would deem unnecessary are machined to perfection. Seeing that from the outside I imagine that internal critical components are honed to the same quality.
Comes with clear instructions a wrench and a spark plug tool. Again the pre-measured oil was a big help in my situation when an emergency hit before I could comfortably unbox it and tinker with it earlier.
We have owned Westinghouse televisions and other appliances but this generator really takes the cake. Not many things can be purchased nowadays and start on a first pool during an actual emergency.
I bought this generator a few months ago just pulled it out of the box and started it up very easy to get going I love that it’s very quiet not like the old Briggs & Stratton generators great job guys!!
