My kids purchased this generator for me as a Christmas gift for the purpose keeping my refrigerator and freezer operating during power outages. Little did I realize that the generator would serve as a lifeline during the worst cold storm that recently blanketed the entire state of Texas. We lost power. It was the difference between freezing and surviving the -2 degrees winter ice storm. Instead of connecting the generator to my refrigerator and freezer, I connected it to two electric heaters which gave us some comfort and relief from the freezing cold inside of the house. It was so cold inside and outside that I did not need to connect it to the refrigerator or the freezer. The cold preserved them, but the generator kept us warm in two rooms. I was very pleased with its performance. It was the lifeline that kept us from leaving home until the power was restored.

Perfect addition to the new camper. I enjoy boondocksing with no electric and needed options for power. Perfect for what I needed, runs entire camper!
