Pretty cool unit....

Have been looking to purchase a generator for a while now...and have compared a lot of brands...This by far is the most bang for the buck unit out there...very easy to put together...and started right up...will be using it a lot...thank you Westinghouse for a fine unit.

Purchased to run refrigerator and freezer in my shop during power outages. The unit arrived 3 days after ordering. Upon arrival, the box was beat to pieces. The only thing holding the generator in the box was the packing straps. Box fell apart after I cut the packing straps. I was surprised to find the generator in good condition. No scratches, dents, or dings. However, there was oil smeared all over the unit. Apparently, whoever tested this thing at the factory didn't bother to clean up after themselves. Cleaned it up, put on the legs and wheels, filled with gas and oil. Started on first pull. Ran it for 30 minutes under a load of various tools. Seems to run fine. Solidly built. The real test will be hurricane season.

Great Features and Value for the money!

I also bought a WGen9500 in 2020. They are wonderful generators with all of the most important features you can want. I bought the WGen3600 for my tenants who rent a tiny cabin here on this property. Power outages are way of life here on the Mendocino Coast. They also look very cool. Thank you Westinghouse.

Well-thought-out features

I bought this to provide backup power to a warehouse gas unit heater during electrical outages. It runs well and meets my needs. It's quite easy to move using the wheels and fold-out handle. The included oil funnel is a nice touch. The unit is moderately loud, but the sound is smooth and inoffensive to the ears.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to setup and working well

Bought this as backup for a log cabin. We were able to run everything on the generator. Easy to start and very reliable for the few hours of our testing.
