Emergency generator for use during storms

I just bought this because we have had several occasions over the past several years where I have been out of power for up to 3 days and I lost everything in my refrigerator and freezer. This will prevent a recurrence for myself and my neighbors. Unit is small but powerful and the wheels make it a breeze to move. Instructions are easy to follow.

Full array of useful features, including low oil and CO shutoffs. Also nice selection of power outlets for 20 and 30 amp loads. Easily accessible maintenance features: oil level, fuel shutoff, and even spark plug are available without removing other panels.
Quickly accommodates load changes, while maintaining the voltage setting.
A nice in between portable generator that will run many of our appliances during our all too frequent tornado induced power outages.

Great Bang for buck

I only had the generator for a short amount of time, but it has been a great experience to me as a beginner to unpack, understand, and start up the generator. The wheels make it incredibly easy to move, and the pull-start is no problem for a young guy like me. The only thing is that the power outlets are not many, and do not include things like usb outlets, so be ready to carry a surge protector with usb outlets with you.
