I have been waiting to purchase this igen4500df since July 2020. I was finally able to get one when they became available again in January of 2021. So far this generator has worked flawlessly. Hopefully for many more years

Great Inverter Generator

I have put twenty hours on the generator running on gas and propane. I will be running primarily on propane. I tested several of the components: usb ports, outlets, fuel, fuel consumption,output, and hour gauge, starting features, economy mode, and response to different loads. It runs pretty quiet but didn't check decibel readings. Setup was easy as instructed adding oil and starting. I followed the directions for starting on propane and gas without any problems. Started easily with the electric start and remote starter. Started fairly easily by hand. Moving handle and wheels work well on hard flat surfaces. Does have nice carrying handles for lifting and a nice heavy plastic shell. All components worked well but found that my fuel gauge is not very precise. Put in one gallon and it read 3.4 L and it should have read 3.8 L. Fuel gauge only works with gasoline. Followed directions for not loading over half for the first 20 hours and used several loads as advised. Generator responded well to various loads and with great recovery on higher loads. My only minor concern was the accuracy of the fuel gauge. I am very pleased with the generator and rate it an overall 4.5-4.7. rating.

Great Generator

Used for a "dry" camping trip. Ran great. Able to run camper A/C. Remote start is a nice feature. Have not tried on propane yet. Would have been 5-stars, but just a touch loud (perhaps quite campground made it seem that way).

I haven't owned this generator very long, but it seems to be holding up. It has stuttered under load a bit but it is new and was running in the cold, so the oil may be a little more viscous and affect performance? I'll try to update this review after more use if necessary.

There was oil leak before I even added oil

Was surprised to see some leaked oil as I opened the cover to fill oil. Hooked it to a LP gas tank and it has started no problem. Hope it’ll give me no issues in the future.

I just purchased this for use when we go dry camping for both power and recharging our battery bank. It had the dual fuel, electric start and remote start that I was looking for and appears to be the quietest on the market. The true test will come this fall. It came well packaged.
