Why would you buy any other generator?

After extensive research, the iGen4500DF checked off every item we had on our list to supply whole-house power in an emergency and for our 24' travel trailer RV.
This is what we wanted:
- Ample running and peak watts
- Duel Fuel
- Quiet (it is sooo quiet!)
- Electric start (the remote control was a nice bonus feature!)
- Easy setup
- Under 21" to fit under my truck tonneau cover for road travel
- Long runtime on either fuel selection
- RV Ready (30A)
- Wheeled for easy mobility (the stowable handle made the mobility even easier)
- High reviews

Every review we researched gave this unit excellent ratings. I concur. I don't know why you'd select a different generator - it exceeds our expectations and runs whisper quiet!

Great features

I bought this a few weeks ago. I tested it everything seams to be working great. I love the fact that it has dual fuel. I Purchase this for power outages and to use at camp. I’m a 5’3” 145lb woman and it’s just the right size for me to move around.

Received the iGen4500DF yesterday. It was packed well and had no apparent damage. The unit started easily on LP but I didn't have proper gas to try. Everything seems to operate as it should. Will test it with loads soon and report with a new review. I see no reason at this time to rate this portable generator anything but a 5. Really do wish that gen cover would be for my size unit!!!

Works so well

Bought just at the time of the great Oregon ice storm of 2021. We hadn't got it hooked into the house before the ice hit and knocked out power for 3 days. We ran cords all over the place. It had no problem running a couple ceramic heaters, lights, microwave, and refrigerator. Its very quiet which I think the neighbors appreciate. Also mizerly on gas usage. We could run it from 5pm at night to 7:30 the next day on a single tank of gas. That was about 14 hours. Really appreciated the long runtime, not having to refuel it at night in the dark.
My only complaint was the battery died from the cold after the ice storm was over. I had to buy a replacement battery for it which wasn't cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!
