Have only used it on propane and only for break in purposes. Started on the second try using the auto electric start. Runs beautifully. Have not fully tested under load but did plug a few things in to make sure outlets were working. Have not tested the 30Amp output yet but plan to soon with a travel trailer/AC. Remote start also works perfectly. Runs very quiet with small loads, will see how it does under higher load soon.
The main users manual said to pour the entire bottle of included oil in before the first start. It was very clear...THE ENTIRE BOTTLE. I would advise against doing that as it is more oil that the generator has capacity for. I would suggest adding slowly and periodically reinstalling the plug to check the level. It wasn't until after filling that I discovered better instructions in the Quick Start guide which say to add slowly until full. I should have reviewed both sets of instructions before proceeding. They really should change the main users manual to agree with the Quick Start guide. It didn't hurt anything, just made a bit of a mess on the garage floor after removing the included funnel.

Great Buy but needed repair out of the box!

This is a great product for a reasonable price compared to other brands. But the customer should not have to immediately tear the product apart to repair the choke. This is a common problem...so common there are videos of the repair online everywhere. The cable connecting the choke to the control board was not hooked up.

After a lot of research, I purchased this generator to use for camping. I'm very happy with my purchase. It's very easy to start and handles all of my electrical appliances in my trailer with no problem.

Remote start: check. Runs on gasoline: check. Runs on propane: check. 30amp RV plug port: check. USB ports: check. Economy mode: check. I mean, there’s nothing else in the market that quite has everything this one does so it was an easy choice. Can’t wait to set it up and use it with our new travel trailer!

I was looking for another brand, when I saw this iGen 4500 that my brother purchased. It had more features, more power, inverter and still quiet. And a great price. I purchased the iGen 4500 DF. As I liked the idea of dual fuel options. Broke in the generator at home. And then went boon docking for 8 days at 10,000 feet up. It ran the heater at night and in the morning. Then it ran the AC in the afternoons. From low power needs to high power needs it was great. Loved the remote, as we did not have to go our when we went to bed. And the same in the morning, pushed the on remote and it fired right up. The wife and I are happy campers!
