Great so far

I was concerned about some shipping damage to the cardboard carton. Upon opening the box there was no discernible damage, so I finished unpacking, plugged in the battery, added included oil, and hooked up the propane regulator. It started with a touch of a button. I’ve since tried multiple loads, including a 1hp compressor, 1200 watt heat gun and numerous saws. So far everything has worked beautifully.
I’ve also been running it for the last 7 hrs on gasoline. I’ve started it with the key fob, and the pull starter, everything has been as hoped for. Very pleased on this first day.

As an off-grid techie, I have bought several generators over the years and this one is both the most solidly built and the most full-featured unit I have yet found. The lack-of-rattle and smooth throttle control contribute to such quietude that my wife considers the low rumble a sleep aid--and I have no doubt these qualities will also contribute to a long, trouble-free lifespan.
As someone who lives+works on high playa, I especially prize their attention to high-altitude performance upgrades for _both_ fuels and the remote+electronic start options; besting Honda, Yamaha, and Champion, Westinghouse earned a loyal customer with this one.

Great emergency Generator

Bought the Westinghouse iGen4500DF generator as an emergency back up for my house. The generator was very simple and easy to setup and get running. Instructions were easy to follow and the units layout for control is simple to understand.

The controls are well placed and clear. A tri-fuel option would have warranted a five star review. It would be nice to use natural gas as well as propane. It was a bit tricky to find the serial number. All in all, this is a great product.

I recently received this generator and followed the setup as outline and it immediately started right up. I ran it for a time and then tested with my 5th wheel and am very pleased. I love the remote start which is one of my favorite features along with the compact size and power it provides. I would recommend this generator to any RV’er or anyone wanting a compact generator which produces this much power and features.
