After 5 days without power, I had to purchase this inverter. The inverter runs very quiet compared to my neighbor's generator. It is easy to set up and operate. Would definitely recommend.

Efficient and reliable

Bought this generator for our Grand Design 17 MKE. I put in in the bed of my truck (make sure exhaust faces outward with tailgate open). Battery lasts all night and I can remote start from inside trailer. Also, was able to recharge a buddies systrm in less than 1 hour. It's heavy at 100 lbs. I use a standard metal cart to transfer from truck be to cart top without lifting. Very happy with peace of mind

Bought this generator for use with our camper and its been awesome! Push button start is great, pretty quiet, running on propane is a lot easier than gasoline and it runs everything in our camper! Couldn't ask for anything more!

Lightweight, have 2 with parallel kit for welding

Two portable generators with a parallel kit run my welder and plasma cutter for my custom metalwork. (Otherwise to get the same amps, I'd have to maneuver a 205lb version).
Truly portable and quiet. Starts right up with the handy remote.

Working Great

I purchased the iGen5000DF recently and have run it a couple times already; once as a break-in period, and the second time was during an actual power outage. The power outage only lasted about 4 hours, but it gave me a good idea of how to get the generator hooked up and running to power our refrigerator. I have only run it on propane so far, which is what I intend to do going forward because I'd rather store a few LP cylinders than containers of gasoline.
The generator is relatively easy to set up and get running. It runs quietly enough, although not as silent as some of the other online reviews made it seem. It had enough juice to power my fridge and wasn't showing much of a power drain on the display, so I think it will be fine to power all of my essential electrical needs during an extended power outage.
There are a few things I think I should mention. Both the Quick Start guide and the User Manual state that you must remove the engine service cover to access the oil dipstick. I think this part of the documentation is outdated because the oil dipstick now has its own access cover on the opposite side of the generator than what is shown in the manuals. With that said, it is still a bit of a tight fit to get your fingers in there and attach the oil funnel. Also both the funnel and the dipstick are plastic and I had to worry about cross-threading and stripping the threads on the plastic, so you have to be careful when attaching the funnel and when screwing the dipstick back into the fill hole. I have not had to do an oil change yet, so I don't know how easy or difficult that will be, but you have to place a pan underneath it to catch the oil and considering how heavy and low to the ground the generator is I think it may be a little challenging.
Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and would recommend.
