Won't start on Propane

I bought this unit specifically because of the electric start and propane capability. I've had dual fuel generators in the past that are difficult to start on propane. This one fired right up out of the box and now 5 days later will not start on propane. It does run nice and quiet. Too early to tell if its going to work out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of feature in a small quiet package

I like the generator well enough to order this one being the second one I own. The features are there, thesound level is good, the ease of use and portability. I do have a compaint, my first one won,t start, I have read all the reviews and tried all the quick fixes. I would have to say coustomer sevice, is almost nonexistant. The phone calls get cut off after being on hold for ever, when you finally get someone it is a operator, telling you to get on line, to submit you questions or orders. At this time my online contact has not been addressed. It is too bad that a good product has such bad followup. I hope to get some responce soon, living in a rual area is a problem, being you have to find and take it to one of there approved, repair shops, in order for it to have warranty parts replaced with no labor paid for, for my situation that requires 200 miles of travel to get it back home and lots of down time.

Perfect all Around Generator

I bought this for the RV and a Home back-up and its perfect for both... Its Duel fuel option is even better as I can run either fuel. Very quiet and Starts right up!

Just as Described

We've just received our unit, but so far in testing it, it works just as described! Tested to see the difference in volume between eco and non eco. Eco is definitely a nice option. Love the remote start option. We think this will be a great addition to our camping needs and back up for power outages at our house!

This is so quiet!

I bought this for my 5th wheel RV and boy does it work great. We're able to boondock with no issues at all now. We also have a Westinghouse IGEN 2500 and are able to parallel port these two together to get 7000W. I'm very happy so far.

Great that it can be fueled by propane. Appears to be high quality. Starts well and runs well so far but haven’t used it in an outage yet.

Perfect for the house!

Not wanting to get caught in another winter storm in North Texas we decided to purchase the iGen4500DF… this little unit is awesome!
Set-up is simple and takes just minutes… once we added oil into the generator and connected the battery cables she fired right up. We had tested the unit out by connecting various electrical devices and she purred like a kitten… steady clean electricity. I’m not looking forward to another power outage in North Texas but if it comes we’re ready thanks to our little iGen4500DF.
