Really nice features

perfect for my needs

After checking other products I decided this would be perfect for my needs. I have a remote off the grid cottage and this should be extremely useful for supplying the electrical needed for appliances, air conditioning and tools. The reviews I read sold me on this generator especially the remote start as well as how quiet is is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The fuel options are awesome and the remote start is great for camping and elk hunting. But I do wish it had a quick disconnect for the propane hose to the generator like the Champion.

After an extensive search, I found this to be the generator for me, I got it for
power outages and a RV when i get one, It is safe for electronics and household appliances. Since propane is so storable dual fuel was a great choice. Set up was easy and it started up the 1st time with propane with the push of a button. I like the features It has.
I love that it has remote start.
Just purchased this generator on 10-6-21 and love how easy is to use. Best part is how quiet it is when running.
The iGen4500DF- Dual Fuel generator is a excellent generator,

Very quiet on propane!

Generator arrived well packed in good condition. We were able to easily follow the setup guide for adding oil, connecting up the battery leads, connecting the propane hose and using the remote start. Unit started immediately and ran for about half an hour.
The unit is remarkably quiet on propane. We could easily carry on a normal conversation right next to the running generator. The eco button slows the unit so it is even quieter when the unit idles between cycling loads like a refrigerator or freezer.
The handle at the bottom of the generator gives great leverage; the unit is easy to move. Be aware! it is very heavy - don't try to lift it.
Challenges will be whether the reported issues (choke not setting automatically, spark plug failure) crop up down the road. Otherwise we would have started at 5 stars.

Great Features!

I hooked the generator to propane tank. It started with first try using the electric start. Haven't tried remote start yet. I love the option of using propane or gasoline and also pull start if needed. Convenient size also!

Amazing Genset, easy to use with great features

I have two other larger generators, but they are loud and have horrible harmonic distortion. That means the power being produced is "dirty." The Westinghouse iGen4500DF produces great clean power.
I started the generator using propane, to start the genetator couldn't be easier. After adding the oil. I connected a propane tank with the included hose and regulator, turned the unit on and then pushed the start button. It was like pushing a push button the start your car! It started up and it was so QUIET. I added a couple of space heaters, it automatically increased RPMs to handle the load. It actually shows what percentage of available watts are be used. So many great features my other units don't have.
Now I did read some reviews that talk about the auto choke not operating properly, not so with my unit.
Bottom line: highly impressed with the unit and highly recommended.
