Worked great for four hours. Shut off the generator and now it won’t start again no matter what I try. A friend has one and it runs great. Maybe I just have a dud.

Magic in a blue box

I bought what seemed to be the last iGen4500DF in stock in the US from Acme Tool (a fine, family owned, upper Great Plains company) who worked with me to have it to me in time for a prolonged time on the road. Thank you Acme! Just the fact that it was in such short supply speaks to good features and performance, not supply chain issues.
This has to be the easiest-to-use piece of technology I've purchased. Push a button, whether on the unit or on the remote, and you have "angry pixies" to run all the things you can't do without. And the neighbors aren't any the wiser that you have the benefit of power when they may not.
It is light enough to lift into the back of a pickup, starts so easily that I don't have to break a sweat, is quieter than the AC unit it drives, and can run on both gasoline and propane.
I look forward to using the retractable pull handle the next time I take it with me on my next commercial flight. (Not really, but it pulls as easily as many checked bags.)
This generator is my go-to over a white labeled, open-frame, Honda driven 7800W generator.
