this unit with dual fuel , eliminates many problems with the fuel supply in many areas.
3 ways to start up unit is a blessing.

Good to know this reliable unit will be here IF and when needed, But also hoping I only have to use it ONCE a year for testing reasons.

I saw many reviews about issues with the choke and starting, so I crossed my fingers when I pushed the start button, but was pleased when the unit started up immediately. I ran it on both gas and propane. Running in ECO mode worked fine, with the unit adjusting according to load. The only problem I had was during setup where the battery hold down strap was lodged back by the oil filler location as you can see in the photos. After I fished it out it was a real chore to get the battery strapped down. The battery location and access are very poor design, no thought to maintenance. I have large hands and it was quite a job to get that strap connected. Anyway, so far so good. The real test will be when we have an outage.

This is the first generator I've ever used. I'll say that my expectations were blown away with the quality and functionality of it. Particularly the remote start and noise levels. I was expecting a "3rd time's the charm" for the remote start, knowing that its uncommon for generators. However, it started up within a matter of seconds without hesitation. As for the sound of it, it is much quieter than expected. Much quieter than a lawn mower, and that's not even with the Eco mode activated. with Eco mode its barely noticeable. Great product.

Perfect for Boondocking

Have been researching inverter generators for our boondocking trips in our travel trailer. This model (4500DF) supplies equivalent power to a 30amp plug-in so we don’t have to worry about rationing our usage. Very impressed with the quietness of this model.

Didn't expect a few extras: battery trickle charger, hidden extendible handle (must have missed it in the description), tool kit and screw-in funnel. Quiet operation!
I haven't run it on propane yet (which will be primary). It took a dozen tries on gasoline; the pull start got is running. Electric starts now works well. It looks like the oil change will take a bit of effort compared to my old gen.
